i've had this meal,
grilled spiced chicken and chickpeas, on my menu for two weeks in a row and i just can't get motivated to fix it. i think that means it shouldn't make my menu again. the chickpeas have to soak for 6-8 hours, then they must be cooked for 2 hours. way too much work for a weeknight meal. guess i should have thought that out a little more, lesson learned.
so instead a frozen pizza from trader joe's, i guess it is good to have a backup plan.
we had the arugula pizza and it was absolutely delightful. i highly recommend checking out their frozen pizza selection if you haven't already.
the pizza looks great!
ReplyDeletei always use canned beans when making chick peas or black beans, dried beans are too time intensive!
