backup plan


i've had this meal, grilled spiced chicken and chickpeas, on my menu for two weeks in a row and i just can't get motivated to fix it. i think that means it shouldn't make my menu again. the chickpeas have to soak for 6-8 hours, then they must be cooked for 2 hours. way too much work for a weeknight meal. guess i should have thought that out a little more, lesson learned.

so instead a frozen pizza from trader joe's, i guess it is good to have a backup plan.

we had the arugula pizza and it was absolutely delightful. i highly recommend checking out their frozen pizza selection if you haven't already.

    i always use canned beans when making chick peas or black beans, dried beans are too time intensive!
