weekly menu posting

here is my menu for the week.  the goal for the week was to have no pasta or rice because those are two stand by food groups that i could live on and they aren't necessarily the healthiest.

sunday : tomato soup with roast beef, cheddar and horseradish panini -- g & l are coming over for dinner and i was told as long as i wasn't serving french onion soup, g$ would be happy

monday: dinner out with a good friend that is in town

tuesday: shrimp tacos with black beans

wednesday: pork loin with panko bread crumbs with broccoli and feta

thursday: dinner with kyle and sarah

friday: chicken with potatoes, bacon and cabbage -- probably the recipe i'm most excited to try out this week

saturday: chicken wild rice soup -- i head to florida early evening but hope to have some soup and cheer the hawks to victory before leaving town
