TOMS

yesterday i received the latest TOMS holiday catalog in the mail.  i thought it would make for some good reading material in the car on the way to work today. as i was flipping through the pages, admiring all the cute new shoes, i couldn't help but stop and read the bios from children who have received a free pair of shoes. cue the water works. 

it is easy to forget all of the blessings we have, like shoes that fit.  sometimes my biggest worry of the day is which pair of shoes to wear, not the fact that i don't have any at all or a pair that is too small. 

and with that, a new pair has been added to my christmas list and then hopefully another child will be able to enjoy a pair as well.  go toms!

    I love that pair too!!

    It is so true that we are blessed in so many ways - some that seem so common, it's easy to overlook, like owning a pair of shoes that fit.

    Gotta love TOMS for giving back!
